Description

Small wooden ballot box. The box consists of two parts: a four-sided base and a slide-out top. One side of the base of the shorter than the rest, and the top slides through the gap and into a groove cut into the interior of the remaining three sides. There is a keyhole slot in the center of the top piece, and a thumb indentation for sliding the lid open. A rectangular piece of a paper is attached to the lid with the inked inscription, "Justices of the Peace".
