Stereoscope with a folding handle on the bottom. The stereoscope consists of a metal oval section with glass lenses, a central blinder, and an adjustable base for holding stereo view cards. The bottom of the viewer reads, "THE PERFECSCOPE TRADE MARK U.S.A. PATENT OCT. 15, 1895". The top of the viewer is marked, "EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE INTERNATIONALE. 1900 H.C. White Co." It is accompanied by a stereograph labeled, "California Big Trees".Context
