Description

Bronze prize medal molded on the front with an image of a woman wearing a toga and holding a cornucopia. She is surrounded by sheaves of wheat. The image is labeled, "CERES" at the center bottom. The back is molded with a wreath made from produce surrounded by the molded inscription, "NEW YORK STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY". The center is engraved, "To A. W. GRAY & SONS. for Drag Saw Machine. Elmira, 1875."
