Description

Two-handled copper tub. The basin has a flat bottom seamed to straight outward-angled sides. There are two shaped round handles with spade-shaped ends that are pinned to the sides of the basin. The basin has a hammered overall surface and dented straight upper edge.

Likely made and used in Vermont, but provenance is not fully known.
