Description

Two-piece blue-checked silk dress consisting of a bodice and skirt. The bodice has long sleeves with black lace cuffs and opens up the center front with 16 blue buttons. It is shaped to the wearer's body through four darts, and the hem is pointed. The skirt is made as a single piece attached to a cotton waistband, but is styled to look like a skirt and overskirt. The hem of the skirt is decorated with two rows of self-fabric knife pleats. The overskirt is gathered over a blue satin ribbon and hangs in swags over the back.
