Description

This band uniform shako has a cylindrical shape with rigid sides and top. The crown of the shako is covered in white synthetic fur. A decorative red flap is gathered to the center top of the shako and hangs down on the proper left side. The flap is decorated with gold braid in a swirl pattern. At the center front of the shako, there is a metal emblem which features a brass federal eagle with the initials "S.H.S." above it. The shako also has a short, white round brim and brass buttons on either side, which are connected by a silk cord. There is a plume covered in dark blue feathers that inserts to the center front top of the hat.
