Description

Woman's hat or bonnet made of cream-colored silk. The brim is formed from the silk being gather over loops of wire. IT is trimmed with cream-colored lace. The back of the crown is flat, and there are ribbons at the bottom to tie under the wearer's chin.

Owned by Amy Maria Stautial Lund (1860-1888), one of the first women to graduate from MIT.
