Description

Small alphabet sampler on plain-woven linen. The alphabets are stitched in a marching style in grey, light brown, dark brown, and blue thread. The first alphabet consists entirely of decorative capital alternates; the second alphabet is standard capitals; the third alphabet is lower case letters. The alphabets are followed by an ampersand, three periods, the numerals 1-9 and 0, and the inscription, "I patty W / Huntington / patty / MKT".
