Membership ribbon consisting of a bar, ribbon, and medallion. The bar is a metal frame with a piece of paper inserted into it. The paper is inked with the name, "E. H. Prouty". The satin woven ribbon is vertically striped in blue, yellow, white, green, and red. The round medallion is molded with the inscription, "GRAND CHAPTER, VERMONT, O.E.S. ORG. NOV. 12, 1873" around the edges and a 5-pointed star in the center. The center of the star is molded with the Vermont state seal. The back of the medallion is molded with the dates 1873 and 1923 flanking a torch and the inscription, "50TH ANNIVERSARY ST. JOHNSBURY VT."Context
