Description

One-piece boxwood fife with concave brass ferrules on either end. The fife has 7 holes drilled along one side: a mouthpiece hole and 6 finger holes. Below the mouthpiece, the makers' label, "MARSH & CHASE CALAIS VT.", is burned into the fife, surround a burned emblem of an eagle. The key, B, is marked beneath the label.
