Steel firmer chisel consisting of a large rectangular blade sharpened to a cutting edge on one end. The other end is formed into a rounded handle with a round, nail-like striking edge. It is stamped with the mark, "C. S. CARDWELL / EXTRA / CAST STEEL / PAWLET VT".
