Description

A "cowboy" type hat with a 3 1/2" brim, sides slightly rolled. A matching colored ribbon (about 1/8"wide) encircles the base of the crown and a few small feathers are tucked under its knotted joint. Feathers are yellow, black, red, green and striped (browns, white). Lining is red satin. Brown leather band inside crown with a gold stamp: "NO.1/ QUALITY/ STETSON/ JOHN B. STETSON/ COMPANY" On the inside top of the crown is a gold stamp on red lining: "NO. 1/ QUALITY/ (company shield with beaver and fowl)/ STETSON" taupe
