Description

Membership ribbon consisting of a rectangular bar, a yellow ribbon, and a round medallion. The bronze bar has decorative scrollwork and the inscription, "VERMONT G.A.R." There is a hinged pin on the reverse. A yellow grosgrain ribbon is looped and stitched onto a wire on the back. From a bar looped through the bottom of a ribbon hangs a shield-shaped bronze medallion with the state seal of Vermont.
