5th Vermont Infantry Regiment national flag. Attached to staff by sleeve. The canton is rectangular, and is 25 x 37 inches. There are 34 gold painted stars arranged in a double ellipse. The stripes are faded, and only ten remain. The stripes are 5.5 inches wide. The flag also has fringe.
