White cotton cap constructed in two parts: the caul and the brim. The caul is gathered into the brim at the center top, creating a small amount of fullness, and the seam is trimmed with piping. The bottom edge of the cap is adjustable with a drawstring, and there are ties attached to each corner of the brim. The edge is trimmed with lace. The fabric is corded dimity in a windowpane pattern.Context
