Soft-bodied doll with a ceramic bust. The bust, consisting of a head and connected shoulders, is made of white ceramic. The hair is molded and painted black. The face is molded and painted with eyes, rosy cheeks, and pink lips. The rest of the doll, including the arms and legs, is made from stuffed cotton. It is shaped into an exaggerated version of a fashionable silhouette, with sloped shoulders, and a smooth curve at the waist. The doll is dress in a blue cotton dress printed with light-blue abstract shapes (similar to animal spots). The dress has long sleeves, three horizontal ruffles along the bottom of the skirt, and a row of 6 metal buttons down the back of the bodice.Context
