Description

This red silk cap is adorned with a Buddha applique on the front. On each side of the cap, there is an embroidered flower. Additionally, the cap features stuffed animal ears that protrude from the crown. The interior of the cap is lined with a blue and green floral fabric. Lastly, there is a single-thread loop situated at the crown.

Context

Collected by Flora Coutts of Hardwick, Vermont. Coutts worked as a teacher in Korea, and volunteered with the Red Cross in China.
