Description

Pieced crib quilt in a star design. The quilt uses two fabrics: a floral calico of white vines on red ground, and a calico of black lines on white ground. The blocks alternate between solid red blocks and red stars on white blocks. The stars are eight-pointed and situated around a white circle. Each row is 5 block across, and they are oriented diagonally. Each block is 5-1/2" x 5-1/4". They are hand pieced, but the binding is stitched by machine.
