Description

Ash splint basket decorated all over the exterior with red-dyed curl work. The top part of the basket is round, and it sits on a square base. The shoulder between the upper portion and the base is reinforced with the use of narrower weavers. The rim is lashed with 1/4"-wide splint. There is a penciled "X" at the center bottom and pencil lines radiating outward from the center to each of the four sides of the base.
