Wooden bobbin from a spinning wheel. The body of the bobbin is a piece of straight metal, with a wooden outside spanning most of the length, and leaving the ends of the metal exposed. Attached near the base of the wood are two wooden circles, both chipped. A third circle is further up on the handle, and above it is an arch shape formed by two pieces of joined wood. The arch has several metal hooks attached to either side. The body of the bobbin has a two lengths of linen thread wrapped around it, one in the middle, and one above the section where the arch is joined.
