This pen is said to have belonged to Frank C. Partridge (1861-1943). He was born in East Middlebury, and graduated from Amherst College in 1882 and Columbia Law School in 1884. He was appointed U.S. Senator from Vermont (1930-31) to serve out the term of Frank Green who had died in office.
