Round metal button that is green on the top half and brown on the bottom half with the white inscription, "THE GUARD BELONGS OUT OF HONDURAS".

Context

Made to protest the use of the National Guard in Honduras. Prior to the Vietnam War, the National Guard had been used domestically, but beginning in 1973, the federal government began integrating the Guard into their general defense strategy.
