Description

Small round red and blue button with the white inscription, "NIXON LODGE". The words are separated by a white stripe with blue five-point stars. The side edge has a manufacturers marks saying, "Green Duck Co., Chicago".

Context

Republican Richard M. Nixon (1913-1994) ran for the U.S. Presidency in 1960 with Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr. (1902-1985) as his running mate for Vice President. He lost to Democrat John F. Kennedy.
