Description

This thickly quilted winter hood or bonnet has an exterior and lining fabric of green silk taffeta. It is quilted in thick channels with a narrow row of piping along each quilting line. The tail reaches the wearer's shoulders and joins with the brim. The bonnet is tied under the chin with green ribbons. The edge of the brim is shaped by an interior metal wire. There is a hole at the top, revealing that the batting is a mixture of undyed and purple wool.
