Description

Dress consisting of a bodice, skirt, and and overskirt. Each piece is made of red wool woven with black and white stripes. The hems of all three pieces as wells as the cuffs of the sleeves are decorated with bias-cut strips of self fabric, set so the stripes are angled diagonally. The button placket and two vertical stripes on the bodice are cut on the bias as well. The bodice opens at the center front and secures with brass buttons.
