Between it says, "Montpelier Vt " followed by a line on which to write the month, followed by the year, part of which is provided -- "186_" This side also says, "Pay to bearer five cents in Current Bankbills in sums of one dollar and upwards."
On the other side is the number five inside an elaborate green design.
