18-karat gold commemorative medal. One side is molded with a small village nestled within mountains, the word "VERMONT" floating in the sky. The other side is molded with the Vermont logo of the US Bicentennial (VT2) with the inscription "OFFICIAL MEDALLION OF THE VERMONT BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION" around the edge and the dates 1777 1977.
