Pieced quilt in a cherry basket pattern. The pattern is formed from pink cotton with a subtle sprigged pattern. The ground is white cotton with a light blue sprigged pattern. Each decorated block consists of a basket formed from an arch and 11 triangles. There is pink sashing between the blocks, and each block is set diagonally to the edges. The lower corners are cut out to accommodate a high post bed. Pencil marks from quilting remain.Context
