Female figure made of papier- mâché over a wire frame wearing a cream-colored cotton dress and a bonnet. The dress fabric is printed with small floral sprigs in blue and green.The long-sleeved dress has a full skirt with four tiers. The neckline is trimmed with a V of light-blue fabric held in four pleats. The bodice of the bodice has 12 seed beads down the center, simulating buttons. She is holding a yellow shawl with white fringe. The bonnet is yellow and ties under her chin with a yellow ribbon. It is trimmed with pink flowers. The figure is painted pink and has black hair. Beneath the dress are four petticoats, pantaloons, and stockings, all made of white cotton. There are green leather shoes tied onto the feet. The figure is attached to the a base via a metal doll stand.Context
