Gift of John H. Carnahan, 1999.51
This playful and unique campaign sign was created by some of Peter Shumlin's friends and neighbors in Putney for his first campaign for State Senate in 1992. Shumlin served in the Vermont Senate from 1993 to 2003 and 2007 to 2011. He left the senate upon his election as Vermont Governor in 2011.
