White ceramic saucer with decoratively molded rim. The center is printed with a full-color illustration of a large, neoclassical building with two wings and a square, central bell tower. The image is labeled "CITY HALL, MONTPELIER, VT." and is surrounded by a circle of gilding. The bottom of the dish is marked, "HAND PAINTED THE JONROTH STUDIOS GERMANY." and "PAINTED AND IMPORTED FOR BUSWELL'S BOOK STORE, MONTPELIER, VT."
