Description

Tufted or punch needle rug made of wool yarn with linen canvas backing. The rug shows a traditional Vermont sugaring scene including (from left to right) a barn, a tree being tapped, a farm house, tapped trees with metal buckets, a sugar house with steam rising from the vent, and a wooden collection tub on a sled. The rug has a purple and maroon border that includes green maple leaves.
