Description

Rococo revival lobed tray with decorative molding and gilding around the edge. The tray is printed with two engraved illustrations of building. The one on the left shows a wide building with covered porches along the front at the first and second stories. The image is labeled, "PAVILION HOTEL, MONTPELIER." The image on the left shows a large Victorian building with a square tower at one corner with arches on the first story. The image is labeled, "U.S. GOVERNMENT BUILDING AND POST OFFICE, MONTPELIER, VT." The bottom of the tray is marked, "Made in England MARVIN & SHERBURNED MONTPELIER VT".
