White ceramic saucer with fluted rim. The saucer is printed with an engraved illustration of two buildings in a snowy field or park. One building is rectangular with a short cupola in the center, and one building has a tall square tower at the center front. The image is labeled, "NEWBURY SEMINARY AND CHAPEL NEWBURY, Vt." the bottom of the plate is marked, "MADE IN GERMANY. FOR J.B. HALE, NEWBURY, Vt. 143"
