Niagara pattern parian pitcher. The pitcher is made of a lightly-glazed, white-bodied ceramic molded into a high-relief design of jutting rocks, running water, and branches. The handle is in the form of a branch.

Context

The Niagara pattern was the only pattern that was exclusively produced by the U.S. Pottery Company, which operated out of Bennington, VT.
