Description

Polly's Delight pattern overshot coverlet. The coverlet is woven of blue wool and white cotton with long, white double-row leno fringe on three sides. It consists of two panels seamed together up the center. The corners of the coverlet are rounded with a tuck.

Context

Made by Bathsheba H. Phillips Crane of Newfane, Vermont. The draft for the pattern as well as other charts made by Crane are held in the Vermont Historical Society's library.
