Large steel sign with the molded inscription, "ROUSES POINT BRIDGE / FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORCKS". The sign goes on to list key participants in the bridge's construction on the New York and Vermont sides, and ends with the date, 1937.

Context

The original Rouses Point Bridge spanned Lake Champlain, connecting Vermont and New York. It was funded as part of the WPA.
