Three military buttons. They are two sizes of the same design, consisting of the Vermont state seal, motto ("Freedom & Unity"), the word "VERMONT", and 13 stars.

Context

Salvaged from the Arsenal Fire in Montpelier, Vermont, on September 1, 1945. The Vermont Arsenal building burned down after being struck by lightning.
