Tan stoneware crock with a cobalt glaze decoration of fern leaves or feathers. At the top center of the crock is the stamped inscription, "L.W FENTON / ST.JOHNSBURY.VT." above the number 2. The crock is straight-sided with a flared lip. There is a U-shaped handle attached on either side. The inside of the crock is a dark brown.
