Blue and white transfer printed dessert plate. The center is printed with a scene of a naval battle with several tall ships. Mountains and clouds can be seen in the background, and two men look on the foreground above the label, "Commodore MacDonough's Victory". The border is printed with shells and seaweed. The reverse is marked, "31".
