Description

Heavy white ceramic dessert plate. The round plate has a raised rim that is printed with an armorial image consisting of two figures in sailor suits holding oars in the outer hands and a banner between them. The shield-shaped banner has a yellow anchor on a blue ground. Above the banner in a three-masted ship with sails furled. Below the image is a ribbon or banner with the inscription, "CHAMPLAIN TRANSPORTATION COMPANY". The reverse has the green mark, "O.P.CO. SYRACUSE CHINA I-3".
