Shipping label for a prosthetic right leg owned by James M. Ewen of Barre in the 1920s(?). The prosthesis is made up of a foot/calf portion and an upper brown leather cone shaped cuff (6 1/2") that fits over the wearers leg. This prosthesis is also in the collection. The label is on two pieces of cardboard. The larger piece has shipping information printed on a light background in blue text inside a text box with the words "FRAGILE---DO NOT CRUSH" printed below. The left side of the text box has a "Notice to Consignee" and the right side of the text box has shipping information and manufacturer information. There are two other pieces of paper attached to the left of the shipping label on the larger cardboard piece. The smaller piece of cardboard has black printed lettering on a brown background; it has been ripped and is missing pieces.
