Description

Stoneware jug. On the top center of the jug is a cobalt glaze V-shaped hand painted design of curled fern leaves or feathers. The stamped label, "FENTON & HANCOCK / ST. JOHNSBURY. VT. / 1 1/2" is above the design. The jug has a small opening with a thick lip, and a round handle on the back. There is a crack on the left side.
