Description

Salt-glazed stoneware water cooler. The barrel-shaped cooler is decorated with four incised horizontal lines around both the top and the bottom, and a large hand-painted feather or fern leaf. There is a large, round hole and bottom center, but the spout is not missing. At the top center is the stamped label, "E. & L.P. NORTON BENNINGTON VT. 3". The interior is glazed dark brown.
