Tall stoneware butter churn with a hand-painted decoration of a flower or flourish. There are U-shaped handles applied to both sides, and a line is inscribed around the piece at the attachment point of the handles. Above the line is the stamped label, "R. WOODWORTH / BURLINGOTN. VT. / 4".
