Description

Grey silk cape-style jacket. The jacket fits very loosely with the sleeves sewn to the body from the armscye to the hem. The cuffs and hem are decorated with chenille fringe. The jacket opens at the center front and secures with a hook and eye at the neckline.

Worn by Lottie E. Smith of Standish, ME, at her marriage to Edward F. Willey of Newmarket, NH, in Concord, VT, June 12, 1882.
