Stoneware jar with large hand-painted design of flourishes across the center front. There are U-shaped handles on either side. The top rim is flared outward to fit a small round ceramic lid. At the center top is the stamped label, "O. L. & A. K. BALLARD. BRULINGTON. VT. 3". There is a small round lid that sits inside the rim and has a round center post handle.Context
