Stoneware jar decorated with a hand-painted design of a flowering plant with four number fours painted throughout the plant. There are U-shaped handles applied to either side, and two parallel lines are incised around the piece just above the handles. Above the line is the stamped label, "R. L. FENTON & CO. / EAST DORSET / 4".
