Description

Large, glazed earthenware churn. There are U-shaped handles applied to either side of the churn, and a line is incised around the body at their attachment point. Above the line is the stamped inscription, "F. WOODWORTH BURLINGTON, VT 6". The churn has a small, dark-brown glazed lid that sits inside the lip. The lid has a hole in the center with a small, cup-shaped surround. There is a wooden dasher through the center hole.
