Tall stoneware crock or jar decorated with a hand-painted design of a floral vase in blue. The piece has mostly straight sides, flaring inward then back outward at the top. U-shaped handles are attached to either side, and a line is incised around the neck of the crock at the center line of the handles. Above the line is the stamped label, "BALLARD & BROTHERS BURLINGTON VT 4".Context
